Overview

Saigon Kitchen + Ca phê, nestled along Rizal Avenue in Taytay, offers a genuine slice of Vietnamese culinary tradition right in the heart of Rizal. This restaurant stands out as a destination for those who seek not only flavorful food but also an immersive dining experience that channels the vibrancy of Saigon’s bustling streets.

The main highlights at Saigon Kitchen + Ca phê are their Vietnamese Spring Rolls and the Duck Banh Mi. The spring rolls masterfully blend fresh vegetables, rice noodles, and savory grilled pork and shrimp, wrapped in delicate rice paper and served with a signature peanut sauce that brings balance and authenticity. The Duck Banh Mi is a feast of textures and flavors—the crisp yet tender baguette supports a rich filling that elevates the traditional sandwich into something memorable.

Diners often find themselves drawn to the comforting warmth of the pho, particularly praised in its beef and duck variations. Though some find the duck pho a bit gamey, the broth overall delivers a comforting depth that pairs beautifully with fresh herbs. Side dishes such as the crispy net spring rolls and savory shrimp egg drop soup add variety to a well-rounded menu.

Mango Sticky Rice, a standout dessert, encapsulates a perfect harmony of sticky rice infused with coconut milk and pandan, crowned with sweet mango and a drizzle of rich coconut sauce. Paired with the refreshing iced teas and the expertly brewed Vietnamese iced coffee, the drinks menu complements the food with equally thoughtful offerings.

The space creates an inviting and casual atmosphere that makes it suitable for families, friends, and even solo diners craving authentic Vietnamese dishes. The décor and aromatic environment transport guests to Saigon’s lively streets, enhancing the multisensory dining experience. While service has subtle room for improvement, the warmth of the experience keeps patrons coming back.

Saigon Kitchen and Ca Phe, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Taytay. From the moment one steps into its inviting ambiance, the aromas of freshly cooked ingredients and the vibrant décor transport diners to the bustling streets of Saigon. The menu, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authenticity, showcases a diverse array of classic Vietnamese dishes. The pho, a comforting and flavorful broth, is a must-try. Equally impressive are the crispy spring rolls, a delightful appetizer that balances the crunch of the exterior with the succulent filling. The banh mi, however, steals the show. The baguette, crisp and satisfyingly chewy, provides the perfect foundation for a symphony of flavors. To complement the delectable cuisine, Saigon Kitchen and Ca Phe offers a selection of refreshing drinks that quench thirst and enhance the dining experience. The iced coffee, a Vietnamese staple, is expertly brewed, delivering a smooth and invigorating taste. With its authentic cuisine, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service, this restaurant is a must-visit for those seeking a memorable Vietnamese dining experience.

I love dining here, especially during the rainy season. It’s my third visit, and I’ve noticed some inconsistency in their servings. For example, the first time I ordered the egg coffee, the foam-to-coffee ratio was just right. This time, however, the foam was very thin and quickly disappeared. I also tried their duck pho for the first time. The broth and noodles were good, but the duck was very gamey, and they served more skin than meat. The seafood laksa, on the other hand, was satisfying and really hit the spot, though the seafood balls were slightly undercooked and had a sour aftertaste. To elevate the dining experience, I hope they can add hoisin sauce, sriracha, and chili garlic oil to their condiments area, and maybe invest in cilantro, as all of these were missing.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Service is a little bit meh as the discount was not able to punch properly. Other than that, a good place to dine and have fun with family and friends.

Great food!! They have a lot in their menu from spring rolls, banh mi, pad thai and rice meals, etc etc. i love pho bo ko the most for the soup! The bread for banh mi was amazingly soft and well prepared. Drinks are amazing too especially peach rose and butter beer! When you order fried spring rolls, roll it with the provided lettuce to make it even flavorsome!

We had an early dinner yesterday after a long drive from Bataan, and we were absolutely starving. I was craving some comfort food, so I thought of trying this new restaurant, and it definitely did not disappoint! The food was not only delicious but also affordable. My wife even asked if I’d be coming back, and I answered with a definite “yes!” That’s how good it was. We’ll definitely be returning for more! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great Vietnamese food without breaking the bank. Btw, they’re pet friendly.

We got 2 types of banh mi and both were good. If you're an average person, 1 can be more than enough. Great food and athmosphere. Great location as well. Despite being in roadside, there's not much noise coming in.

Food was great!! I love the noodles and Ca Phe Sua Da — strong and just the right sweetness (for me, as it might be too strong for others), while my partner love the Spring Rolls. + Mango Sticky Rice is a must try!! Here’s our order for reference: • Beef with Lemongrass Noodle - P269 • Bahn Mi W/ Bo Kho Broth - P249 • Fresh Spring Rolls - P219 • Ca Phe Sua Da - P155 • Butter Beer - P145 • Mango Sticky Rice - P185

Legit pho and ca phe sua dua (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk) if you’re craving for Vietnamese!!! The banh mi especially the bread is baked by a legit Vietnamese and it is not hard. Like butter bread with a crunch on the outside. Price on point with serving and especially taste. Love the variety of drinks offered especially the flavored green apple beer. Owners very accommodating and explain the dishes they serve. Pet friendly too!!! Will come back again and again!
